Testing Resistance & Reform News: July 21 – 27, 2021

Recognition that high-stakes testing has failed to improve either educational quality of equity continues to spread across the nation. Increasingly pressure from parents, students, teachers, school leaders and grassroots activists is forcing policy-makers to walk back some of the worst exams of standardized exam misuse and overuse. There’s still a long way to go, but assessment reformers are making real progress.
